Culture is something important in Estepona. Should you vacations coincide with some exhibitions, do not hesitate to have a look.

The principal place where to see expos is the Casa de la Cultura of Estepona, located in Plaza de las Flores. Here you can enjoy temporary exhibitions of two or three weeks showing paintings, sculpture and plenty of activities. The exhibitions have a usual duration of two to three weeks.

Another place for exhibitions is the Palacio de Expositions y Congresos de Estepona (Exhibition- and congress centre of Estepona). Here are mainly paintings on show, the duration of the expos vary. In September, is the house host of the comic exhibition, an expo which coincides with the Sci-Fi and Terror film festival which is annually held here.

On the other hand, hotels like the Kempinsky have various private exhibitions throughout the year.

Apart of the different exhibition outlets, further to mention are the various museums of the town located amongst others, in the Plaza de Toros, in Calle Matías Prats: the Palaeontology Museum, the Taurin Museum, the Archaeology Museum and the Ethnology Museum.

Find even more culture in and around Estepona by visiting the monuments or archelogical excavations like the Castillo del Nicio, the vigias towers which extent all along the coastline and monuments like the Torre del Reloj.
