Estepona has a mild, Mediterranean climate which allows the visitor to enjoy outdoor activities 365 days a year. Being very close to the Straights of Gibraltar, the rainfall is higher here than in the western side of Costa del Sol. The temperatures during the winter vary from 7-8ºC lowest to 20ºC maximum. During the summer temperatures can rise to 40ºC and because of the high humidity, the heath can be quite stifling.
The average rainfall is of approx. 900l per square metre during the year. There are more than 300 days of sunshine all though the year. |
