Estepona has various events during the year, some of which you can enjoy, if you are there during the proper dates.

Lets start in May with the festival of San Isidro Labrador, festivities which give the centre of town a playful colouring. Excellent occasion to get in touch with Andalucian tradition are the fiestas Mayores held in July.

On the other hand, the 7th art, has its celebration in May with the Spanish film festival, where directors and actors in the shape of Juan José Ballesta, Manolo Escobar, Juan Luis Galiardo, Santiago Segura or Marujita Día took part in the past. Another film festival held here, is the festival of Sci-fi and terror taking place in September and which hosted celebrities like Paul Naschy, Alex de la Iglesia, Darío Argento…
